Manufactured using Hard Maple for the Edge Grain pieces. The stripes are made using Walnut.
- Outside Dimensions: 14.5" x 20" x 1.625"
- Juice Track on the top surface: 3/8" groove width
- Surface Dimension inside juice track: 12" x 17.5"
- Walnut Stripes are 1/4" wide, 1 3/4" down from the top of the board and 1 3/4" space in between the stripes
- 1/8" Roundover edge on top and bottom
- Finger grooves for handles on the ends of the board
- Food-Safe Mineral Oil finish applied
A note on food safety: Colorado Heirloom uses ONLY glues that are food safe once cured.
While many commercial manufacturers use formaldehyde glue for speed of bond,
we use only basic food-safe wood glue, sacrificing no loss in bond strength.
