California Proposition 65 Compliance Statement
The updated regulations for California Proposition 65 to into effect on 8/30/2018. All consumer products sold or distributed in the State of California are subject to Proposition 65 (“Prop 65”) or The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. Prop 65 was created through the ballot initiative process and was intended to protect California citizens and the State’s drinking water from a State-determined list of over 900 chemicals that are known by the State to cause cancer, reproductive harm, or birth defects. You can access this list and other information regarding Prop 65 at http://www.oehha.ca.gov/prop65. While it is not practical for Colorado Heirloom to test each order for every chemical on the Prop 65 list, we do apply a Prop 65 warning label to each shipping carton for all orders shipping from our facility. The shipping carton is the immediate container for our products.
WARNING: Drilling, sawing, sanding or machining wood products can expose you to wood dust, a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer. Avoid inhaling wood dust or use a dust mask or other safeguards for personal protection.
